University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) women’s golf opened its fall schedule with TinYan Liu leading the lineup at the Youngstown State Roseann Schwartz Invitational in Hermitage, Pennsylvania. Liu carded rounds of 77 and 81 for a two-round total of 158 on the Avalon Course at Buhl Park.
UMES finished 11th with team rounds of 314 and 333 for a total score of 647. Ohio State University won the event with a team score of 572.
TinYan Liu Leads UMES Women’s Golf
Liu, a sophomore, was the low scorer for the UMES lineup in the first fall tournament. Pearl Omaruaye followed with rounds of 78 and 82 for a tournament total of 160.
Bushra Fatima recorded rounds of 78 and 84 for a total of 162. Alysa Davis and Sydney Raines each finished with a total stroke count of 169, while Charlene Pak posted a two-round total of 170.
UMES Women’s Golf Returns to Competition
