UMBC Brings Conference-Leading Offensive Numbers
UMBC owns the best winning percentage in America East at .700. The Retrievers lead the conference with 18 goals, averaging 1.80 per game, and 16 assists, averaging 1.60 per game.
UMBC ranks fourth in the conference in goals allowed at 1.10 per game and second with 6.10 shots on goal per game. The Retrievers are off to their best start since 2014, when they opened that season 8-2 after 10 contests.
Brooke Clagett, Zoe Brossman Lead the Attack
Freshman Brooke Clagett is tied for the America East lead with four goals and leads the conference with three game-winning goals. She scored game-winners against Mount St. Mary’s (Md.), American University and Fairmont State.

Redshirt sophomore midfielder Zoe Brossman is also tied for the league lead with four goals and ranks third with 10 points from four goals and two assists. Her two assists against Fairmont State tied the America East single-game high, and three of her goals came on penalty kicks.
Sophomore midfielder Cami Mink, senior midfielder Regan Rubin and sophomore defender Hailey Ahmed are tied with Brossman for the team lead with two assists. Mink recorded two assists against Towson, tying Brossman’s America East single-game high, while sophomore midfielder Delainey Proctor scored the first two goals of her career against Towson and Wagner.
UMBC recorded 16 points against Fairmont State, including five goals and six assists. The total was an America East single-game high, while the five goals tied for the league lead.
Vermont Enters on Two-Game Winning Streak
Vermont has won two straight matches against Saint Joseph’s and Adelphi. The Catamounts have been outscored 16-8 overall, while Eleni Stowell is tied for fifth in America East with three goals.
Aubrey Bruce, Eleonore Blouin and Warren have each recorded two assists. Vermont goalkeeper Sophia Kling ranks fifth in the conference with 3.88 saves per game.
Series History Favors Vermont
Vermont is 6-0-1 against UMBC since 2018, including a 0-0 draw in Burlington on Sept. 18, 2022. UMBC last defeated Vermont in 2017, winning 1-0 at Retriever Soccer Park.
