Flynn Holdem earned his second career America East Rookie of the Week honor for UMBC men’s soccer after scoring his second goal of the 2026 season. Holdem scored late in the first half Friday evening in Virginia against No. 22 Old Dominion. Both of his goals during the 2026 season have come off the bench.
Holdem Scores Against Old Dominion
Holdem netted his first career goal against Loyola (Md.) before finding the back of the net versus Old Dominion. He has played 214 minutes so far in 2026 and has scored two goals on nine shots.
This recognition marks Holdem’s second time earning America East Rookie of the Week honors. UMBC men’s soccer is scheduled to host Howard on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 7 p.m.
