University of Maryland, Baltimore County announced a six-event athletics schedule for Sept. 21-27, 2026, featuring men’s soccer, women’s soccer, women’s volleyball, and swimming and diving. The week includes men’s soccer’s America East opener against UMass Lowell, women’s volleyball’s conference opener at UAlbany, and the Black/Gold Alumni Meet at the UMBC Aquatic Complex.
The schedule also includes two men’s soccer home matches at Retriever Soccer Park, a women’s soccer home match against New Hampshire, and women’s volleyball’s conference weekend finale at Bryant. University of Maryland, Baltimore County announced the schedule Sept. 21.
University of Maryland, Baltimore County Men’s Soccer Hosts Navy and UMass Lowell
University of Maryland, Baltimore County men’s soccer will host Navy at 7 p.m. Sept. 22 at Retriever Soccer Park in its final nonconference match of the home stand. Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night is scheduled for the match, and the first 200 fans will receive a Playa Bowls giveaway.
University of Maryland, Baltimore County enters the week after defeating Howard 2-0 and falling to William & Mary 2-1 during the preceding week. The team will then host UMass Lowell at 7 p.m. Sept. 26 at Retriever Soccer Park to open America East play.
The UMass Lowell match will feature Greek Night and a DawgHouse pajama giveaway for the first 150 fans. It will be the second men’s soccer home match on the weekly schedule.
Women’s Volleyball Opens America East Play
University of Maryland, Baltimore County women’s volleyball will open America East play at UAlbany at 6 p.m. Sept. 25 in Albany, N.Y. The Retrievers enter the match with a 4-5 record after losses at Villanova and Temple.
UAlbany is listed at 3-8 and will play its first home match of the season against University of Maryland, Baltimore County. The Retrievers will close the opening conference weekend at Bryant at 1 p.m. Sept. 27 in Smithfield, R.I.
University of Maryland, Baltimore County will seek its fourth consecutive victory against Bryant. Bryant enters the week with a 5-11 record after three losses at the Jack Kaiser Volleyball Classic.
Women’s Soccer and Swimming and Diving Also Scheduled
University of Maryland, Baltimore County women’s soccer will host New Hampshire at 1 p.m. Sept. 27 at Retriever Soccer Park. The match will include Faculty & Staff Appreciation Day and a DawgHouse pajama giveaway for the first 150 fans.
Men’s and women’s swimming and diving will hold the Black/Gold Alumni Meet at 1 p.m. at the UMBC Aquatic Complex. University of Maryland, Baltimore County is scheduled to officially begin its season Oct. 3 by hosting American and VMI for the Family Weekend Tri-Meet.

Men’s soccer will transition from its nonconference finale against Navy to its America East opener against UMass Lowell, while women’s volleyball will begin league play at UAlbany before visiting Bryant.
