Trea Turner Releases Statement After Inappropriate Tweets
Washington Nationals Shortstop, Trea Turner, tweeted controversial messages in the year of 2012, before he joined the Nats, and that created controversary on Sunday, July 29th. Here are Turner’s tweets, according to a fellow twitter user(warning: vulgar language).

Tweets aside, Turner has recorded the following statistics, according to Pro Baseball Reference, Turner has recorded a .265 BA, has hit 13 home run’s, driven in 43 RBI’s, has stole 24 bases, and has an OBP of .337, all through July 29th.
