Towson Tigers Football Earns First National Ranking

The hype for the Towson Tigers Football team is starting to become recognized by the national media. Their victory on Saturday September 15th, at then ranked #10 Villanova has many people thinking that this team could make some noise in the CAA.

Towson has been placed at #25 in the FCS Stats poll and only missed the Top-25 FCS Coaches poll by one point. This is the first time the team has been ranked since the 2014 season. Much of the success can be contributed to the No-Huddle offense the Tigers have implemented with QB Tom Flacco at the helm.

The Tigers play their home opener this Saturday against The Citadel. Kick-Off is slated for 4 PM.
