Tigers look to come off BYE Week Strong

After a tough loss at the hands of Villanova 2 Saturday’s ago the Towson Tigers had a long 2 weeks to prepare for Richmond who come to Unitas Stadium this Saturday to play the Tigers.

Towson will look to come off this bye week rested and ready to get back in the win column. Both the Offense and Defense  look to make needed adjustments these 2 weeks of practice. Even though they forced 4 turnovers in the game against Villanova the Defense has plenty of work to do. They have to look to stop the run more. They gave up 2 late rushing touchdowns in the 4th Quarter that gave Villanova the win .

The Offense seems to be having big trouble getting in the end zone. Not just last week all season they have had trouble putting up 6 points on the board. They have looked to Kicker Aidan O’Neill way to much to put up 3 points. It’s not gonna win football games, they have to figure out how to cross the goal line. They have to be able to hold on to they ball in the clutch moments. 2 turnovers in the 4th quarter is never a good thing no matter what team it is. When your down in the 4th Quarter you have to be smart with the football. And Towson just didn’t do it. Clutch moments need smart plays and no Turnovers. You have to get down the field and score points 6 would be the ultimate goal.

On a injury update Justice Pettus-Dixon took a nasty helmet-to-helmet hit in the loss. He was taken to a local hospital for evaluation but was released and back on campus doing well. Hoping for a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing him back on the field soon.
