Tigers Keeps Fighting, But GW Wins The Battle

Just like the last game, Towson lost but they wouldn’t go down without a fight. This time, however, they lost to the Colonials of George Washington University. The Charles E. Smith Center attendees saw the Colonials get their first win of the season, beating the Tigers 68-64. With this loss, the Tigers are now 2-5.

For the Tigers, guard Brian Fobbs led the team in points with 17 points, Dennis Tunstall led the team in rebounds with 12, and guard Nicolas Timberlake led the team in assists with 3.

For Vermont, guard Terry Nolan Jr. led the team in points with 23 and led the team in assists with 3. Guard DJ Williams led the team in rebounds with 5.
