Lebanon Valley Scores Twice After Halftime
Stevenson goalkeeper Sophia Valenzano made four saves in the first half to help keep the match scoreless. Saleigha Fennel recorded shots on goal in the 15th and 24th minutes, while Courtney Keehner added an attempt later in the half.
Lebanon Valley broke the tie in the 67th minute when Mikayla Mitchell scored with an assist from Abrielle Miller. Jayme Beninda extended the lead in the 84th minute, with Miller earning her second assist of the match.
Stevenson University Women’s Soccer Records Eight Shots
Stevenson continued to create opportunities in the second half with Kailyn Beall putting a shot on goal in the 58th minute, followed by Keehner’s attempt in the 65th minute and Beall adding another attempt in the 76th minute.
Nyla Behram put a shot on goal in the 78th minute, but Stevenson could not find the net. The Mustangs finished with eight shots and four shots on goal, with Fennel leading the team with three shots and two shots on goal. Beall added two shots and one shot on goal. Valenzano finished with 10 saves.
