The Stevenson University women’s field hockey team has climbed to No. 4 nationally in both the Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Coaches Poll and the NCAA National Power Index rankings released during the week of Oct. 6, 2026.
The NCAA National Power Index released its first rankings of the season, while Stevenson continued its rise in the NFHCA Coaches Poll. The team opened the season at No. 17 and moved up 13 spots to No. 4 in the Week Five poll.
Stevenson reaches No. 4 in both national rankings
Stevenson received 388 points in the Week Five NFHCA Coaches Poll. The team was one of three undefeated teams remaining nationally at the time of the announcement and held a 10-0 record.
Stevenson also recorded nine shutouts, including eight consecutive clean sheets. The team’s rise to No. 4 marked a 13-position improvement from its opening ranking.

Upcoming Stevenson Women’s Field Hockey Schedule
Stevenson was scheduled to host Widener University on Oct. 7 at 6 p.m., play at York College of Pennsylvania on Oct. 14 at 7 p.m., and host Messiah University on Oct. 17 at noon.
The team is also set for games at Neumann University on Oct. 21 at 4 p.m., at Albright College on Oct. 24 at 11 a.m., host Hood College on Oct. 28 at 5 p.m., and play at Eastern University on Oct. 31 at 11 a.m.
