St. Mary’s College of Maryland Men’s Soccer Defeats Wilson College 9-0 as Franco Reyes and Matthew Kuwik Score Twice

St. Mary’s College of Maryland men’s soccer defeated Wilson College, 9-0, on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026, in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Franco Reyes and Matthew Kuwik each scored twice as the Seahawks earned their second consecutive win and improved to 5-7 overall and 2-2 in United East Conference play.

Wilson College fell to 1-7-2 overall and 1-2-0 in conference play. The Seahawks scored five goals in the first half and added four more after halftime.

Seahawks Build Five-Goal First-Half Lead

St. Mary’s College of Maryland recorded 20 shots in the opening half, including 10 on goal, while limiting Wilson College to three shots and none on target. Nick Haney scored once and added two assists during the first 45 minutes, helping the Seahawks establish a five-goal advantage before halftime.

In the second half, the Seahawks added four goals. Reyes and Kuwik each scored twice in the match, while Tyler Foti contributed one goal and two assists.

Elijah Isett scored his first goal as a Seahawk, and Quinto Barrett recorded his first collegiate assist. Zach Blaum and Tanner Bruce also scored for St. Mary’s College of Maryland, while Lucas Evans recorded an assist.
