Salisbury University Women’s Soccer targets a top-two finish in the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference in 2026 after returning seven of its top 10 minute-loggers from last season. The Sea Gulls also bring back their top four point scorers from 2025 and will feature nine seniors, five incoming freshmen, and two transfers.
Head coach Kwame Lloyd outlined the program’s goal for the upcoming season. “We want to peak in all aspects in October. I want to finish inside the top two in our conference and believe our seniors, along with the depth we have added, allow us not to be a one-hit wonder,” he said.

Salisbury University Women’s Soccer finished the 2025 season with a 6-11-5 record and advanced to the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference semifinals. The Sea Gulls reached the semifinals by defeating Johnson and Wales Charlotte, 1-0, in double overtime.
Salisbury recorded eight shutouts in its final 11 matches of the season. Goalkeeper Riley Kinzeler posted a 4-6-4 record with 63 saves and seven shutouts in 15 starts during the 2025 campaign.
All-C2C Selections Lead Returning Group
Ava Wheeler and Brooke Spadin earned All-C2C First Team honors in 2025, while Alex Jankowski and Lauren Chesney received All-C2C Second Team recognition. Wheeler enters the season after making 59 consecutive starts, scoring two goals, and leading Salisbury with five assists in 2025.
Spadin scored three goals in 20 games, while Chesney scored the overtime winner against Johnson and Wales Charlotte and played 1,463 minutes. The returning group also includes Jordan Edwards, who led Salisbury with four goals in 16 appearances, and Skylar Williams, who recorded three goals and one assist.
Maya Avery scored one goal in 15 games last season. Lacey Hoageson logged 1,484 minutes and made 18 starts, while Rebecca Fairbanks logged 1,655 minutes on the backline and recorded one assist.
Olivia Pasko, Riley Kinzeler, Alex Jankowski, Lacey Hoageson, Brooke Spadin, and Rebecca Fairbanks received CSC Academic All-District selections.
2026 Schedule Includes 18 Contests
Salisbury’s 2026 schedule includes 18 contests, with nine scheduled at the Gerry DiBartolo Sea Gull Soccer Complex. The season opens against Washington (Md.) in Chestertown, Maryland.
The Sea Gulls will also compete in the Seahawk Classic in St. Mary’s City, Maryland, facing McDaniel and Randolph-Macon.
