Salisbury University women’s soccer lost 1-0 to Penn St.-Berks on Oct. 7, 2026, at Artificial Turf Athletic Field in Reading, Pa. Stephanie Morales scored in the 20th minute on an assist from Devon Deery, giving Penn St.-Berks the only goal of the match.
Salisbury trailed 1-0 at halftime and did not score in the second half. The result left Salisbury with a 2-9-1 overall record and a 0-0-0 Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference record.

Morales put Penn St.-Berks ahead in the 20th minute, and the Nittany Lions maintained the lead through the final whistle. Salisbury held an 8-5 advantage in shots during the first half but could not find the equalizer. Salisbury also led in shots during the second half, 6-4. Brooke Spadin and Lauren Tolbert each recorded a shot on goal in the half, while Samantha Root finished with two shots on goal after entering from the bench.
Salisbury Women’s Soccer Finishes With Six Shots on Goal
Salisbury recorded six shots on goal compared with five for Penn St.-Berks. Root’s two shots on goal represented a personal season high. Riley Kinzeler made four saves for Salisbury. Lauren Chesney and Rebecca Fairbanks played all 90 minutes. Riley Fisher denied both of Root’s shots on target for Penn St.-Berks.
