Salisbury University women’s golf secured third place at the Bridgewater Invitational Tuesday at Lakeview Golf Course in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The Sea Gulls shot 41-over 333 in the second round, finishing the two-round tournament at 72-over 656.
Stella Jaffe led the team with a fourth-place individual finish. Jaffe shot an 80 in the second round and finished at eight-over 154, breaking her own Salisbury record of 155 for the lowest two-round score in Sea Gull history.
Salisbury Women’s Golf Finishes Third
Salisbury finished ahead of fourth-place Bridgewater, which posted a 698. Southern Virginia won the team title with 631, followed closely by Marymount (Va.) at 633. The tournament featured a field of 10 teams.
Jaffe Sets New Salisbury Record
Jaffe’s 154 established the new Salisbury record, surpassing her previous mark of 155 set less than two weeks earlier. Her fourth-place finish highlighted the Sea Gulls’ strong individual performance.
Additional Top-44 Finishes for Salisbury Golfers
Sydney Lynott shot an 80 in the second round and tied for 11th individually with a 16-over 162 total. Krista Brosius carded an 85 and finished 16th at 21-over 167.
Ava Kelly shot an 88 and tied for 19th with a 27-over 173 total. Kaeli Newcomb posted a 101 in the second round and finished 44th at 56-over 202.

Salisbury University women’s golf is scheduled to compete in the Alvernia Fall Invitational on Oct. 5-6, 2026, at Bulle Rock Golf Club in Havre de Grace, Maryland.
