Salisbury University Women’s Golf Is Second After First Round of Battle at Bulle Rock

The Salisbury University women’s golf team is in second place after the first round of the Battle at Bulle Rock, carding a collective 69-over 357 at Bulle Rock Golf Club in Havre de Grace, Maryland. The Sea Gulls finished three strokes ahead of third-place Stevenson, which shot 360, among nine complete teams.

Adelphi led the event after posting a 329. The Battle at Bulle Rock is hosted by Alvernia University.

Krista Brosius Leads Salisbury University Women’s Golf

Krista Brosius shot an 84 over 18 holes and tied for third among 46 individuals. She also posted the best score among Division III golfers at the halfway point.

Sydney Lynott followed with an 87, recording three birdies and placing sixth among the individuals.

Stella Jaffe and Ava Kelly each shot 93, tying for 19th overall and eighth among Division III golfers. Kaeli Newcomb shot 104, Salisbury’s drop score, and finished 36th individually.

Second Round Scheduled for Tuesday Morning

The second round is scheduled for Tuesday morning at approximately 9 a.m. Salisbury University women’s golf enters the round in second place among nine complete teams.

Salisbury University women’s golf established a strong position after the opening round, trailing only Adelphi and holding a three-stroke advantage over Stevenson. Brosius and Lynott both finished among the individual top six, while Salisbury posted a 357 as a team.
