Salisbury University men’s soccer team opened the Elmer Lord Memorial Tournament with a 3-0 victory over Eastern Mennonite University on September 4, 2026, at the Gerry DiBartolo Sea Gull Soccer Complex in Salisbury, Maryland. Salisbury Builds Early Lead

Brunetti scored in the 66th minute after catching the Eastern Mennonite goalkeeper off the line. Salisbury finished with 15 shots, including 10 on target, while Eastern Mennonite recorded eight shots and five on target.
Salisbury closed out the 3-0 victory with a 6-3 advantage in corner kicks. The win marked the program’s opening result in the Elmer Lord Memorial Tournament.
