Salisbury University extended its winning streak to six games with a 1-0 victory over the Roanoke College Maroons on Sept. 19, 2026, in Salem, Va. The decisive goal came in the 77th minute when Harry Vasilios scored his first career goal with a header off a corner kick from Kai Lindsay.

Vasilios directed the header into the top-right corner, giving Salisbury University a 1-0 lead. The Sea Gulls pressured Roanoke’s goalkeeper Denzel Marufu early, testing him five times in the opening 30 minutes. Marufu denied two shots from David Brunetti and stops from Liam Pierce, Michelangelo Parravano, and Tanner Calzado.
Nate Jones Preserves the Shutout
