Salisbury University Men’s Soccer Earns 2-1 Senior Day Win Behind Noah Blankensop’s Two Goals

Salisbury University men’s soccer defeated St. Mary’s (MD), 2-1, Saturday evening at the Gerry DiBartolo Sea Gull Complex in Salisbury, Md. The No. 21 Sea Gulls secured their 10th victory of the season and improved to 10-1-2.

Noah Blankensop Scores Twice

Sophomore Noah Blankensop gave Salisbury University a 1-0 lead in the 34th minute. He scored again in the 86th minute to deliver the deciding goal, recording his first two-goal game and second career game-winning goal.

St. Mary’s (MD) tied the match during the second half when Zach Blaum scored with an assist from Matthew Kuwik. Blankensop’s late goal came with assists from David Brunetti and Conor Moran.

Salisbury Controls the First Half

Salisbury led 8-3 in shots at halftime and held a 2-0 advantage in shots on target. Will Noble played a scoreless first half in goal, while Nate Jones made one save during the second half.

Brunetti recorded his third assist of the year, and Moran recorded his fourth. St. Mary’s (MD) fell to 5-8-0 with the loss.

Senior Day Recognition

Before the match, Salisbury University honored 11 senior team members: Nate Jones, Will Noble, Gabe Glikin, Peter Beil, Dale Gordon, Jack Schwarz, Tanner Calzado, Josh Williamson, Liam Pierce, Jake Trama and Cooper Santos.

Salisbury University men’s soccer is scheduled to play at Ursinus on Oct. 13, 2026, at 2 p.m.
