Salisbury University men’s soccer head coach Zack MacDougall announced Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2026, that Ludovic Bell has joined the program as an assistant coach. Bell comes to Salisbury University after spending three years as an assistant coach with MLS Next’s Baltimore Armour.

During his time with Baltimore Armour, Bell helped lead the academy’s U16 team to a quarterfinal appearance in 2024 and its U17 team to a quarterfinal appearance in 2025. He also contributed to recruiting efforts and helped develop 18 Division I commits.

Bell Brings Baltimore Armour Experience to Salisbury University

Bell earned a spot on the MLS Next Team of the Month in March 2025. His work with Baltimore Armour included recruiting and player development responsibilities.

MacDougall said Bell’s background and approach to player development will benefit Salisbury University men’s soccer.

“I’m incredibly excited to add someone of Vic’s caliber to the program,” MacDougall said. “He brings a tremendous soccer background and a wealth of knowledge that will immediately benefit our players both on and off the field. His passion for the game, commitment to player development and experience truly stand out. We’re fortunate to have him as part of our program moving forward.”

Ludovic Bell Has Coaching Experience in Germany

Bell, a Rockville, Maryland, native, also has head coaching experience in Germany. His 17U squad with SV Blau–Gelb in Frankfurt earned promotion to the Gruppenliga.

Before becoming a head coach, Bell served as an assistant coach for SV Blau-Gelb’s 13U, 14U and 19U teams. He coached the club’s 14U team in the Verbandsliga, Germany’s top youth league.

Bell Played Division I Soccer at Alabama A&M

Bell graduated from the University of Akron in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management/Sport Science. He also played Division I soccer at Alabama A&M from 2008 to 2010.
