Salisbury University men’s lacrosse face-off specialist Blake Malamphy was selected by the Las Vegas Desert Dogs in the fourth round with the 46th pick of the 2026 National Lacrosse League (NLL) Draft. The announcement came Sept. 25, 2026, in Philadelphia, Pa.
Malamphy played four seasons with Salisbury and finished with program highs in face-offs won (1,086) and ground balls (726). He won 65.6 percent of his face-offs and recorded 32 goals and seven assists over 84 games.
Blake Malamphy Finished Salisbury Career With Major Honors
Malamphy earned the 2026 Coastal Lacrosse Conference Player of the Year and the USILA Face-Off Specialist of the Year honors. He was also named All-Coastal Lacrosse Conference in each of his four seasons.
During the 2026 season, Malamphy went 344-for-457 at the face-off spot and collected 245 ground balls. As a junior, he recorded 282 face-off wins, adding to a career that set Salisbury program records in face-offs won and ground balls.
He is the most recent Salisbury University player selected in the NLL Draft since Cross Ferrara was picked by the Georgia Swarm in 2022, according to Salisbury University.
