Salisbury University announced three Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Players of the Week for Sept. 21-27, 2026. Stella Jaffe received the Colonial Women’s Golf Conference Golfer of the Week award, Clif Nehman earned Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, and Dario Belizaire was selected as the New Jersey Athletic Conference Football Special Teams Player of the Week.
Stella Jaffe Sets Salisbury University Women’s Golf Marks
Jaffe earned the first Colonial Women’s Golf Conference Golfer of the Week award for the Salisbury University women’s golf program this season. She also received the first conference player-of-the-week award of her career.
Jaffe broke her own single-round program record with a 74 (-1) and set a tournament mark with a two-day score of 154, eight over par, at the Bridgewater Invitational. She finished fourth among 57 competitors, three strokes behind the lead, and recorded her second top-five finish in as many events.
Clif Nehman Earns Men’s Soccer Honor
Nehman received the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week award after helping the Salisbury University Sea Gulls earn a late 1-0 win at DeSales. The sophomore goalie recorded seven saves and posted the third shutout of his career.
The shutout came in Nehman’s first action of the season and helped Salisbury University improve to 7-1-1. It was the second conference player-of-the-week award of Nehman’s career and his first this season.
Dario Belizaire Produces Two Punt-Return Touchdowns
Belizaire earned the New Jersey Athletic Conference Football Special Teams Player of the Week award after recording 184 all-purpose yards in Salisbury University’s 47-10 win over Catholic. The senior slot man returned two punts for touchdowns, covering 50 and 64 yards.
Belizaire’s 137.3 total yards per game led the New Jersey Athletic Conference and ranked 29th in Division III, according to the Salisbury University announcement. The award was the fourth of his career.
