Salisbury men’s golf enters the 2026-27 season with 10 returning golfers after reaching as high as No. 6 in the Region III rankings and finishing No. 9 during 2025-26. The Sea Gulls add three freshmen and will open the fall at the Dickinson Fall Invitational.
Head coach Dalton Deardorff is entering his third season with Salisbury. The program won the McDaniel Spring Invitational and the Sea Gull Invitational last season while finishing in the top three at five other events.
Strong Regional Performance in 2025-26
The Sea Gulls climbed to No. 6 regionally before closing the 2025-26 season ranked No. 9 in Region III. Salisbury secured victories at the McDaniel Spring Invitational on March 28-29 and the Sea Gull Invitational on April 11-12.
Additionally, the team placed in the top three at five other tournaments across the fall and spring, marking a successful season for the Division III program as it prepares for the upcoming campaign.
Key Returning Players Lead the Team
Ryan Henneman led Salisbury with wins at the PCT Melee on October 19-20 and the Sea Gull Invitational. He recorded five top-five and six top-10 finishes in 18 rounds, averaging 75.8 strokes per round.
Colton Thomas played all 18 rounds, averaging 77.6 strokes per round. Alex Langford appeared in 15 rounds with a 77.9 average, while Gage Bandy competed in 10 rounds, averaging 81.0 strokes per round.
The returning roster also includes Ben Bowen, Dominic Cahill, Peter Carnegie, Vincent Diglio, Evan Oglesby, Parker Pruitt and Jack Laur.
Incoming Freshmen Bolster the Roster
Salisbury welcomes three freshmen for the 2026-27 season. Brooks Manning hails from Kingsville, Maryland, Cole Velardo from Middleton, Massachusetts, and the third freshman also comes from Maryland.
Deardorff noted that the returning upperclassmen bring valuable experience with the program’s system and tournament golf.

We’ve also got a great schedule with some really high-level tournaments against some high-end teams, so we’re excited to see where we stack up this fall.”
