Redskins Fall To Indianapolis 21-9

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: The Redskins had an easily winnable game in front of them, and found a creative way to lose.

This time the opponent was the Indianapolis professional football team. In one drive, Indianapolis did what Washington could not do all game long: score a touchdown. Andrew Luck connected with Eric Ebron to give Indianapolis a 7-0 lead which they would not relinquish. Washington rallied back, even cutting the deficit down to 14-9, but in typical Redskins fashion, they simply got in their own way today. Oddly enough, they were in the game until Andrew Luck connected with a completely uncovered T.Y. Hilton to give Indianapolis a 21-9 lead, which would go on to prove to be the final score as the Redskins fall to 1-1 on the season and see their three game home win streak come to an end.

Redskins will host the Green Bay Packers next Sunday.
