Redskins and Eagles release initial injury report

The Washington Redskins have released their first injury report in advance of Sunday afternoon’s NFC East showdown with the Philadelphia Eagles.

As expected, quarterback Colt McCoy did not practice. The did not practice designation for Fabian Moreau is concerning and puts his status for Sunday’s game in severe jeopardy. Moreau has been in the concussion protocol since the Atlanta Falcons game two weeks ago. Tight End Jordan Reed remains in the protocol but was able to practice on Wednesday, certainly an encouraging sign for the team and for fans.

To the dismay of Redskins fans, the Eagles injury report did not list Fletcher Cox.

The teams face off at 1:00 PM on Sunday in Philadelphia. The game will be played on Fox.
