Recap: D.C. United 1, New York Red Bulls 0

D.C. United got a huge 1-0 win against the New York Red Bulls at Audi Field. It was their sixth win of the season and they won the game thanks to a first half goal from Ola Kamara and some stellar defense.

The lone goal came in the first half at the 27th minute when Julian Gressel stole the ball from a Red Bulls defender and dished it to Kamara who finished it off.

Gressel nearly doubled D.C. United’s lead in the second half but good defense was all they needed to secure the crucial three points. The Black and Red will take the road this weekend to take on FC Cincinnati at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
