Ravens trade up, draft Notre Dame receiver Boykin

The Baltimore Ravens have already taken one wide receiver in the 2019 draft, landing Marquis Brown with the 25th pick. After trading up to get the 93rd pick, the Ravens selected Miles Boykin out of Notre Dame. Boykin’s highlights can be seen below.

The 6’4, 220 pound Boykin was the 13th wide receiver taken in the draft and graded out as a second round pick. In 2018 with the Fighting Irish, Boykin caught 59 passes for 872 yards and eight touchdowns. At the combine, Boykin got some attention with his 4.42 forty, 43.5 inch vertical, and 11 feet 8 inch broad jump.

Obviously, size is a huge plus for Boykin as is his 100th percentile ranking catch radius. In college, the production did not match the athleticism and physical attributes. The question for the Ravens is whether they can turn his potential into reality.
