Ravens Sign Four Players to Future Contracts

Earlier today the Ravens signed quarterback Josh Woodrum, running backs John Crockett and Ricky Ortiz, and offensive tackle Steven Moore. These four players were all on the Ravens’ practice squad as the season ended.

Josh Woodrum made the most noise during the 2017 preseason, completing sixty-nine percent of his passes for 321 yards, along with two touchdowns and zero interceptions. Woodrum also showed off his wheels rushing for forty-two yards on sixteen attempts and another pair of touchdowns. Woodrum could possibly compete for the Ravens backup quarterback role as Ryan Mallet is set to become a free agent in March.

Steven Moore and Ricky Ortiz were both undrafted free agents and John Crockett was first signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent back in 2015 before the Ravens added him to the practice squad this season.
