Ravens Meeting With Ridley, Moore
According to Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun, the Ravens have met with star Maryland wide receiver, DJ Moore. Moore finished his Junior season at UMD with eighty receptions, 1033 yards, and eight touchdowns. A lot of fans have been begging for the Ravens to keep the Maryland receiver in his home state, especially after the success former Terps receiver, Stefon Diggs had this past season. Moore mentioned that he had met with former Maryland receivers, Super Bowl Champion Torrey Smith and the aforementioned Diggs and that he is intrigued by the idea of playing for the Ravens. Moore has been dubbed with a second to third round pick, but the Ravens could get a steal if that turns out to be the case.

Zrebiec also announced that the Ravens have a scheduled meeting with Alabama’s superstar receiver Calvin Ridley. Ridley, arguably the nation’s best pass catcher also in his Junior season, wrapped up his collegiate career with sixty-three receptions, 967 yards, and five touchdowns, all career lows. Even still Ridley is regarded as the cream of the crop when it comes to receiving prospects in this years draft. A couple of analysts have had Ridley falling to the Ravens at pick sixteen, whereas others have Ridley going in the top ten, and on occasion top five. If somehow Ridley does fall into the Ravens’ lap, they must pounce on him. He would be an immediate upgrade from any receiver on last year’s team and would provide Joe a brand new weapon to play with.

Now obviously this is expected of the Ravens. The need to fill the holes at the receiver position is arguably the biggest for Baltimore.
