Ravens Earl Thomas Reportedly Involved in Violent Altercation with Wife
In a troubling Instagram story late Wednesday night, Earl Thomas let his followers know he was in a violent domestic dispute with his wife.
Baltimore Ravens Free Safety Earl Thomas’ wife Nina Thomas held a gun to his head over a cheating allegation, according to a TMZ Exclusive. Court documents reveal the shocking details of the attack dating April 13.
Nina claims the couple got into an argument, where Thomas left the premises. After checking his Snapchat location, Nina Thomas claimed to have seen video of Earl with another woman. She was able to track his location and brought two other females with her to confront Earl. She brought Earl’s 9mm pistol with her, with the intention to “scare him.” They arrived at the location they tracked him to and allegedly found him in bed with another woman.
Police arrived at the scene at almost four o’clock in the morning. They noted Nina was holding a knife and a shirtless male, later identified as Earl, was holding a pistol behind a vehicle. Nina later admits that she did point the gun at Earl’s head, but removed the magazine prior. She was not aware the gun had a round in the chamber already.
There was some cell phone footage of what went down during the altercation, including Nina striking Earl in the nose before the footage ends, and pointing the gun at his head with less than a foot between the two.
The woman who Earl was visiting says Nina threatened her and the other individuals also in the home. Many of the friends Nina brought with her were swinging knives around as well.
In the end, police decided to arrest Nina and the other two individuals she brought to the scene. An emergency protective order was placed on Nina, ordering her to stay 200 yards away from Earl and his alleged mistress.
In his Instagram statement, he asked for prayers for all parties involved. “We try to live the best lives we possibly can. Sometimes it doesn’t go as planned.” Earl noted his birthday is today, May 7th, and this is not how he planned his 32nd birthday to start.
