Orioles prospect Pop undergoes successful T.J. surgery

The Baltimore Orioles received some bad, yet good news today as the team’s No. 19 prospect, Zach Pop, underwent successful Tommy John surgery to repair the ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow.

The surgery was performed by Dr. James Andrews, one of the most well known orthopedic surgeons in the country.

Pop is expected to miss the remainder of the 2019 season and part of the 2020 season in recovery.
