Orioles lose in a stunner to the Blue Jays

The Baltimore Orioles lost to the Buffalo Blue Jays by a score of five to four. Unfortunately, the Orioles lose for the third time in a row.

The scoring did not start until the bottom of the fourth inning when Vladimir Guerrero Jr. smacked a solo home run. Immediately after, Teoscar Hernandez homered to push the Blue Jays’ lead to two to nothing.

The Orioles answered a couple of innings later when Ryan Mountcastle scored two runs on a single to third base. This evened the game at two runs a piece.

Sadly, a wild pitch in the bottom of the sixth would get the best of Orioles pitcher, Tanner Scott, to bring in Geurrero Jr. to make the Blue Jays take the lead three to two.

Thankfully, Renato Nunez would come up clutch in the top of the eighth to score a run to tie the ball game at three each.

Consequently, this would make the game go into extra innings. It looked like the Orioles would eek out a win in the top of the tenth when Hanser Alberto scored Rio Ruiz. The Orioles led four to three.

Ultimately, Randal Grichuk hit a walk-off home run to win the game five to four.

During the game the Orioles scored four runs on eleven hits with no errors. The Blue Jays scored five runs on eight hits with one error.

The Orioles look to snap this losing streak tomorrow night when they face the Blue Jays in game two of the series.
