Orioles lineup and game preview: 6/22/19

The Baltimore Orioles will try to salvage a game three win against the Seattle Mariners today.

Last night, the Birds lost their tenth straight game, in what was a close comeback 10-9 loss.

It’s a new day for the team, and there is some good news in midst of all the losses. Trey Mancini will be back in the lineup today playing first base and batting second, after missing the last two games with an elbow contusion.

Renato Nunez will be the designated hitter, with Richie Martin back at shortstop and Keon Broxton commanding center.

The pitching matchup for today’s game is RHP Andrew Cashner (6-3, 4.48 ERA) for Baltimore taking on LHP Tommy Milone (1-1, 3.03 ERA) for Seattle.

The Orioles have also made another roster move for today’s game, as they have selected the contract of RHP Matt Wotherspoon from Triple-A Norfolk.
