Orioles get Williams and Gudino for minors depth
The Baltimore Orioles have added another outfielder to their very stacked group and a young infielder to add in the mix, acquiring both Mason Williams and Yeltsin Gudino.
Williams, a 27-year old outfielder who appeared in the minors and majors for the Cincinnati Reds last season, is a career .289/.325/.396 hitter. Last season Williams carried a .296 average in 51 games with the Reds. He has been assigned to Triple-A Norfolk.
Gudino, a 22-year old infielder, was acquired from the Toronto Blue Jays. He is a career .233/.310/.280 hitter in 5 minor league seasons. He has been assigned to Single-A Frederick.
