Orioles Fall 6-2 to Twins
The Baltimore Orioles perfect season has come to an end after two games, as they fell to the Minnesota Twins by a score of 6-2 Saturday night.
Miguel Sano got to Orioles starter Andrew Cashner early, launching a solo home run in the first inning to give the Twins a 1-0 lead.
Jason Castro followed up Sano in the third inning with a solo home run of his own, and Sano added another run on an RBI groundout to extend the Twins lead to 3-0 in the third inning.
Max Kepler continued the home run barrage on Andrew Cashner with a solo home run of his own in the fourth inning, extending the Minnesota lead to 4-0.
Miguel Sano brought in another run on a double play in the fifth inning, and Joe Mauer’s RBI single in the seventh inning stretched the lead to 6-0.
The Orioles got on the board late in the ninth inning, as Tim Beckham launched a two-run home run for his first of the season.

Andrew Cashner struggled in his Orioles debut, lasting five innings while allowing five runs (four earned) and giving up three home runs. Twins starter Kyle Gibson pitched a marvelous game, throwing six no-hit innings with six strikeouts in a winning effort.
The Twins and Orioles will face off in the rubber game of the series Sunday at 1:05PM ET. José Berrios will get the start for the Twins and Kevin Gausman will get the start for the Orioles.
