The Baltimore Orioles have made another roster move today, as they claimed reliever, Shawn Armstrong, off waivers from the Seattle Mariners.
Armstrong, 28, has pitched in just four games this season for Seattle, all in relief. He holds a 0-1 record in those four games with a 14.73 ERA.
The Mariners designated Armstrong for assignment after calling up top pitching prospect, Justus Sheffield.
Update: The Orioles have sent Luis Ortiz back down to Triple-A Norfolk to make room for Armstrong.
