The Notre Dame men’s soccer team was selected seventh in the 2026 United East Conference preseason poll with 68 points. The conference announced the poll Aug. 20, 2026, from Latham, N.Y. Cairn University placed sixth with 78 points.

St. Mary’s, Penn State Harrisburg and Penn State Abington received first-place votes and occupied the top three spots in the poll. Penn College and Lancaster Bible rounded out the top five.
The Gators finished the 2025 season with a 4-7-4 overall record and posted a 4-2-2 conference mark. They placed fourth in the conference standings and qualified for the United East tournament quarterfinals, where they lost 1-0 to Penn College.
Gators Open 2026 Season on the Road
Notre Dame opens the 2026 season on the road against Washington Adventist on Sept. 1, 2026. The Gators will host Goucher in their home opener on Sept. 5, 2026, at 1 p.m.
