Notre Dame of Maryland University Men’s Soccer Team Earns First 2026 Win With 2-1 Victory Over Carlow

Notre Dame of Maryland University men’s soccer team earned its first win of the 2026 season with a 2-1 victory over Carlow on Sept. 9 at Turf Field Sponsored by the SSNDs in Baltimore. The Gators improved to 1-0-1 and remained the last unbeaten team in the United East Conference.

Notre Dame of Maryland opened the match with five shots during the first 12 minutes. The Gators took the lead late in the first half when Carlow scored an own goal, giving Notre Dame of Maryland a 1-0 advantage at halftime.

Notre Dame of Maryland doubled its lead in the 63rd minute. Maxime Baux assisted Athanasios Ziliaskopoulos, who scored to make it 2-0.

Carlow Scores on Corner Kick
