OUTSTANDING PITCHER OF THE WEEK

RHP Tim Melville won both of his starts this past week (5-1 vs Durham; 5-6 vs Louisville).  He pitched a total of 12 innings, giving up 11 hits, 6 earned runs, 4 walks and had 8 strikeouts.  He has lowered his ERA down to 2.86.  He’s 5-0 for the season and has won his last four starts.

REHAB STINT

Orioles 2B Jonathan Schoop has begun his rehab stint with the Tides.  He played in Saturday and Sunday’s games, going 1 for 8.  He is scheduled to play into Monday’s game at Durham before rejoining Baltimore when they return home Tuesday to begin their series against the Kansas City Royals.
