Michael Forret Makes First Start for Norfolk
Michael Forret made his first start for the Norfolk Tides after the organization acquired him in a trade with Tampa Bay for Tyler Wells. Forret received no decision after pitching 4.2 innings.
He allowed two runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out five. The Norfolk Tides entered the game with an 11-26 record in the current split and a 39-73 overall record. The Buffalo Bisons entered at 21-18 in the split and 56-58 overall.

Creed Willems hit his 15th home run of the season and finished 2-for-3 with a walk. Rece Hinds then hit a two-run double in the seventh inning, giving the Norfolk Tides their only lead of the game at 3-2.
