No. 5 Salisbury University Women’s Field Hockey earned a 1-0 road victory over Stockton University on Sept. 6, 2026, at Stockton Turf Field in Galloway, N.J. Ryan Lowe scored seven minutes into the first quarter on a penalty corner assisted by Layla Kent, while Maddie Castaneda made four saves for her first career shutout victory.
Ryan Lowe Scores on Early Penalty Corner
Salisbury University took the lead seven minutes into the game when Lowe scored off a penalty corner. Kent assisted on the game-winning goal.
Both teams recorded three shots and one penalty corner opportunity in the first quarter. Salisbury University then held an 8-0 advantage in shots and a 3-0 edge in penalty corners during the second quarter, but Stockton University remained within one goal.
Salisbury University Holds Stockton University Scoreless
Salisbury University finished with 18 total shots, including 11 on goal. Stockton University recorded eight shots, with five on target, while Salisbury University held a 7-5 shot advantage in the second half.
