No.13 Maryland looks Sparta Michigan State in a weekend matchup

The Keys to Victory!
Will the defense set the tone?
Defense wins championships and faces a Michigan state that is a strong rebounding team, and with the lack of size, putting pieces in positions to defend the post which at times shows. Coach Frese has to find ways for the defense to 1) create turnovers, 2) know what certain lineups work, and 3) stay out of foul trouble.
The others around Diamond Miller part three
As the second half of the season is underway, how can the others find consistency in order for Maryland to be ready for March? Brinae Alexander, Lavender Briggs, Bri McDaniel, etc. Coach Frese has to continue to hold them accountable and continue to give them confidence as most have been picking up it lately with shooting and defense. Coach Frese must find ways to get the young guard involved in situations to show why they are Maryland Terrapins, this is where your fame is made. It is going to be games like this for the #LegUSy to be told.
While this could be a trap game for the Terps. This game is winnable, and everything is right in Maryland’s lap. Turnover to Assist numbers are looking good, and the bench continues to be productive.
Prediction:
Maryland Terrapins: 81
Michigan State Spartans: 74
