Nationals Trade For Josh Bell
The Washington Nationals have made their first move of the 2020-21 offseason, trading for Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman Josh Bell. Bell is a switch-hitting power bat who will fill what was a large hole in the Nationals lineup. Bell’s best season of his career came back in 2019 when he made the all-star game and hit 37 home runs.
The Nationals are sending two right-handed pitching prospects, Will Crowe and Eddy Yean, the team’s 3rd and 6th best prospects to Pittsburgh in return for Bell.
Nationals fans are hoping that this is just the start to bringing the team back to the “contenders” category of the MLB.
