The Washington Nationals have released their spring training schedule for 2020. The first game is set for Saturday, February 22 against their ballpark-mates, the Houston Astros. The Astros serve as the home team for the Nationals’ spring training opener. The Nationals’ first full home spring training opener is scheduled for Thursday, February 27 against the Astros.
Of note in the 2020 spring schedule, the Nationals are set to face the New York Yankees for the first time in the Grapefruit League on Thursday, March 12. The final spring training game will be at home against the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday, March 22, before the Nationals embark on their trip to Washington for the exhibition game (opponent to be announced) and for Opening Day and the 2020 season.
