Nationals’ Michael Taylor: Activated from IL

Centerfielder Michael Taylor was activated from the 10 day injured list on Monday.

Taylor, who has been on the shelf all season with knee/hip strain, has been cleared to join the Nationals ahead of the Phillies series Monday. Taylor completed a minor league assignment with Triple A Harrisonburg, going 3-for-16(.188), also with a solo home run in each of the four games that he played. Now that he is healthy, the 28 year old, can fill a reserve a spot in the outfield for the Nationals. Andrew Stevenson was sent to Triple A Fresno in a corresponding move.
