Nationals lose to the D-backs 10-3: Recap 6/15/19

The Washington Nationals lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks Saturday afternoon at Nationals Park. The Nats record currently stands at 32-38. The D-backs move to 38-34.

Stephen Strasburg pitched a very strong five innings for Washington. Strasburg allowed nine hits and five strikeouts while pitching. Javy Guerra allowed one hit and two strikeouts in relief for Washington.

In the bottom of the first, right fielder Adam Eaton hit sacrifice fly to center, Trea Turner scored.

In addition, in the bottom of the first, Juan Soto homered to left center (399 feet).

Finally, in the bottom of the first, Matt Adams homered to right (409 feet).

With a loss over the D-backs, the Nationals play the game four of the series at 1:35pm. Pitching for the Nationals will be Anibal Sanchez.
