Nationals lose to the Brewers 7-3

The Washington Nationals lost to the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday afternoon in regular season action. The Nats’ record currently stands at 14-22. The Brewers move up to 22-16.

Jeremy Hellickson pitched a very strong four innings for Washington. Hellickson allowed 7 hits and 4 strikeouts while pitching. Erik Fedde a relief pitcher allowed 1 hit and 1 strikeout while pitching.

In the top of the sixth inning, Victor Robles hit a sacrifice to the left, first baseman Aaron Noll scored. At the top of the seventh, shortstop Wilmer Difo hit a sacrifice fly to the center, left fielder Adam Eaton scored. In addition, pinch hitter Howie Kendrick hit a sacrifice to center, Wilmer Difo scored.

With the loss to the Brewers, the Nationals head to Los Angeles to play the Dodgers tonight at 10:10pm at Dodgers Stadium. Pitching for the Nationals will be Patrick Corbin.
