Nationals fall to Braves in 5-0 shutout loss; recap 9/13/19

The Washington Nationals fell to the Atlanta Braves in the first game of the three game series vs the Braves at Nationals Park. After giving up three runs on seven hits in the game, Max Scherzer concluded his night with five innings and six strikeouts. Tanner Rainey and Javy Guerra pitched a very strong inning in relief for Washington. Despite, loosing to the Braves, the Nationals just won a three game series with the Minnesota Twins.

Tomorrow, Austin Voth will take on Mike Foltynewicz in game two of the series at 4:05pm
