Nationals face Orioles in second half of annual Beltway match; lineup and update: 8/27/2019

After a successful 6-1 road trip, the Washington Nationals return home for the Washington side of the annual Beltway series against the Baltimore Orioles. Patrick Corbin (10-5, 3.17 ERA) opens this match against Aaron Brooks (3-7, 6.21 ERA), marking this Corbin’s 27th start this season.

Earlier today, Hunter Strickland has been placed on the paternity list, following the birth of his second child. Spencer Kieboom has been called up from Harrisburg to hold Strickland’s spot. The Nationals bullpen will thus maintain seven pitchers for this two-game series.
