LIU Builds Early Lead
LIU took a 7-3 lead after the first quarter and held a 12-8 advantage at halftime. Mount St. Mary’s scored once in the third quarter, allowing LIU to carry a 14-9 lead into the final period.
Mount St. Mary’s scored four goals in the fourth quarter but could not erase the deficit. Aaron Tarr, Giannis Skliras and Neven Cerkez each added one goal, joining Radosavljevic, Fox and Urosevic in the scoring column.
Goalkeeper Change in Second Half
Linc Smith was the goalkeeper for Mount St. Mary’s in the first half. Ivan Morales relieved Smith and served as the goalkeeper during the second half.
