Bauer leads the Metro Conference with five assists. Ryan Collins recorded a two-save shutout against Iona and earned Metro Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Canisius Enters With 1-7 Record
Canisius entered the match with a 1-7 overall record and an 0-2 Metro Conference mark. Romero Nicolazzo leads Canisius with four goals, while goalkeeper Preston Harold has recorded 31 saves.
Mount St. Mary’s has won three of the previous four meetings with Canisius, including the prior season. The Mountaineers have a 1-1 record in their previous matches in Buffalo.
